Tutor Doctor Bromley and South East London fully understand that child’s safety and security come first within its organisation. We have developed the following safeguarding policy to which the offices in the UK adhere to ensure we deliver the service that our customers expect and the reassurance they need:-
1. We ensure our tutors’ registration and recruitment guidelines are strictly followed. We check the suitability and backgrounds for all members of the Tutor Doctor team, including gaining references and having up to date DBS checks according to our policy.
2. Upon registration we provide guidance for tutors to ensure they work within a professional code of conduct and behave in accordance with the guidelines that are set out by our senior management.
3. We have in place procedures to monitor, identify and report cases, or suspected cases, of inappropriate behaviour by tutors.
4. Our Education Consultants establish a safe environment in which children can learn and tutors can teach in harmony.
All staff and Tutors have signed Independent Service Agreements with Tutor Doctor, agreeing to adhere to the Tutor Doctor code of conduct
Parents or guardians should understand that the responsibility for ensuring child safety is a joint effort and that the parents or guardians play a crucial supporting role in managing and monitoring tutors’ behaviour.
