How we work:

  • An Education Consultant from Tutor Doctor comes to your home to learn about the needs of the student. This may include an assessment in English and Maths. Our priority is to learn as much as we can about the student so we can match them with the right tutor.
  • In consultation with the parent, the Education Consultant will recommend an outline teaching programme which will take into account the learning objectives of the student and important target dates which may need to be met.
  • With the aid of our Big Apple computer system, we will make the best match possible between the teacher and the student. The assessment results are given to the tutor to help them understand the areas which require attention first.
  • Once appointed the tutor, following discussion with the parent, will work out a schedule which is tailored to you and the student's needs and availability.
  • After a tutor starts to work with your child you will receive regular calls from Tutor Doctor to ensure you and your child are receiving the support you require.
  • Tutor Doctor provides you with regular reports so you can see your child's progress.
  • You will soon start to see results in the student's confidence and school results
